William Jones of USC came into Sunday's Pac-12 finals of the 400 meters with a personal best of 46.06 seconds. He erased that with a sensational 44.65 seconds and overtook teammate Johnnie Blockburger, the reigning conference champion, who also PR'd for second with 44.80.
