UCLA junior Robert Brandt won the men's 10,000-meter title in 29:08.11 at the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships at Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson, Ariz. Brandt, the first UCLA male athlete to win the 10,000 crown since Steve Ortiz in 1982, returned to place sixth in the 5,000-meter final in 13:52.28 to help the Bruins place second overall.
