Washington freshman Elijah Mason won the men's discus throw title with a sixth-round effort of 189-6 (57.78m) at the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships at Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson, Ariz. Mason became the first Washington male athlete to capture a discus championship since Borys Chambul in 1976.
